Franks & Beans Casserole, This tastes like a corn dog and chili dog all in one It is from Rachael Ray , I made this for a party and my larger skillet was being taken up by something else I cooked the hot dog pieces in a smaller skillet and poured them into a large casserole dish when they were done, over the baked beans I then poured the cornbread mix over the hot dogs and baked beans and baked until the cornbread was done (toothpick clean) This took a little longer to bake more like 30 minutes but it came out great and everyone loved it Tip: If you do it this way you might have some cornbread mix leftover , This was very tasty and I enjoyed the corn bread being layered over the beans It was just two of us so used one package of Ball Park bun length hot dogs and I believe a 28 ounce can of Bush Beans I dont think I would add the chives to the cornbread next time A nice family meal! Thank you Lainey for posting this recipe, will be making it again Made and reviewed for the Australia/NewZealand Forums recipe swap #30
