Fried Chicken Livers, One of my sons loves fried chicken livers and I found this recipe in a cookbook called Whistle Stop Cafe, I just want to thank you so much for this recipe It was awesome It also brings back childhood memories from a place that used to eat at in Dallas called the Circle Grill We always put honey on top of the livers These tasted just like Circle Grill- which is no longer in business to my knowledge , Great recipe-used it for years! It’s wonderful with fresh greens I also like the fried green tomatoes recipe from the Whistle Stop recipes-ya’ll know it is from the Fannie Flagg novel ‘Fried Green Tomatoes’, the one on which the movie was based Thanks for the post-I lost my cookbooks in our last hurricane
