Directions
Fruited Lowfat Oatmeal Bars,These oatmeal bars are sweetened mostly with fruit (and a little sugar). The fats are healthy and moderate, so these bars can be enjoyed by anyone likes to enjoy some “healthy” carbohydrates. I enjoy them with a cappuccino for my mid-day snack! If you don’t have a 7×11 baking pan, you can use a 9×9 square pan.,Really tasty, pretty healthy and very substantial bars. They were a breeze to whip up. used raisins and left out the nuts. Great for breakfast on the go. Thanks for posting the recipe.,I caught the review for this yesterday and thought these sounded great…yep, they are! Really yummy and quick to make. used raisins and left out the nuts as the kids don’t like nuts. I did do half whole wheat flour and half white flour as you indicated too and the texture was nice. I also changed to sugar to 1/4 C splenda and 1/4C sugar too with great results. Thanks for posting this, I will make it often.
