Fudgy Brownies from Scratch,These brownies are awesome. Nice rich chocolately flavor.,I added the hot coffee instead of the water, I also used the applesauce instead of oil. I baked it ten minutes less than stated. It still came out cake like. I’m actually going to crumb most of it to be the base of a peanut butter cheesecake!,I followed this recipe exactly, used a 9×13 pan as directed, baked it for 2 1/2 minutes less than time required. I was expecting sweet fudgy brownies. Instead they were cake-like and dry, and they had a bitter aftertaste. Very disappointing, waste of time and money.

in a Large Bowl, Stir Together the Cocoa and Baking Soda, Add 1/3 C Veg Oil and Boiling Water. Mix Until Well Blended and Thickened. |
