Garlic Bread, An unusual garlic bread This one uses mayonnaise Try it, you’ll like it! (really), I don’t know, maybe it was using low fat mayo that did it but this came out terribly The texture of the topping was a bit soupy, and of course unnaturally white for garlic bread I could see that the proportion of garlic to the rest of the ingredients was low, so I doubled the garlic, but I think I should have halved the mayo My oldest son’s reaction was: What does this taste like [pause] it almost tastes like you put mayo on instead of garlic , Evelyn, you never disappoint I made exactly as directed This was fantastic and I will certainly be making it again!
