Garlic-Infused Sunflower Seed Spread Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

I made this a few days ago and followed the suggestion for adding 6 Tbsp. of water and more oil. That helped the processing and spreadability of this a great deal. I also thought it needed something flavorwise, so I added some cajun seasoning. The cajun seasoning melded the flavors perfectly.
This makes a great sandwich with lettuce and tomato. I'll be making it again.

Sunflower Seed & Garlic Spread, This was derived from having a mega bunch of sunflower seeds I love spreads and pastes to add flavor If you want more garlic, feel free to add more use on toast points, rub on chicken, crackers It is a good rub for baked pork chops , I made this a few days ago and followed the suggestion for adding 6 Tbsp of water and more oil That helped the processing and spreadability of this a great deal I also thought it needed something flavorwise, so I added some cajun seasoning The cajun seasoning melded the flavors perfectly This makes a great sandwich with lettuce and tomato I’ll be making it again , I’ve made this spread 3 times now! It is a delicious, easy and filling snack I would however like to add a couple of suggestions to make this recipe easier for those interested Add an additional 2 tablespoons of olive oil and about 6 tablespoons of water or else you won’t be able to process it Another way to make the garlic taste a little less pungent is to heat the olive oil in a pan until it is warm, take oil off the stove, and then let the cloves soak in the oil for a couple of hours Your spread will still have a tasty garlicky flavor, but it will be a bit more mild
