George Washington’s Rice Waffles, A great way to use leftover rice! I don’t have a waffle iron right now, so placing here for safekeeping Adapted from the USA Rice Foundation , The recipe was cut in half and short grain brown rice subbed for plain white Wasn’t too sure about the optional caraway but I got used to it after a few bites The waffles were Tasty Dish approved which is always a relief Thanks for posting!, What an interesting waffle Sharon It was really good The waffles were crisp, tender, light and flavorful, very very filling, with a slight rice flavor The syrup was dynamite, thick, spicy, sweet, tart and tangy A perfect accompaniment to the waffles, they balanced each other perfectly A repeat recipe for me Thank you so much for sharing this unique treat
