German Pancakes, This was one of my favorites breakfasts growing up It isn’t sweet in itself (no sugar), so you can sweeten to taste with syrup, jam, fruit, or a dusting of powdered sugar–whatever you like It’s very good, so don’t be surprised if everyone wants seconds or even thirds!, I made the pancake in a large pie plate It rise a lot It’s fun to watch DS was quite impressed We ate it with maple syrup It was delicious It was flaky probably because of the butter Thanks HalcyonEve Made for 123 hit wonders, This is the perfect, simple german pancake recipe! I followed the recipe to a T, except used a 9 x 13 glass pan It turned out great I served it with recipe #16717 The syrup added the perfect, caramel/vanilla sweetness Thanks for sharing
