Sonth Panak ( Ginger Tingler),This is a traditional Indian drink meant for the hot summer months.Though there will be a slight change in flavor you can substitute sugar for jaggery if you cant find the latter. Happy sipping!,DD (toddler) liked this. I did not like the flavor and would have given it 3 1/4 stars. used dark brown (demera) sugar. That is supposedly closer than white sugar to jaggery which I didn’t have available. used freshly squeezed lemon juice. I won’t make this again.
