    Gluhwein (Mulled Wine),This very easy recipe comes from Winemaker magazine. I liked it because I had all of the ingredients on hand, it is really fast, and because it warmed me up and helped alleviate the symptoms of the cold I had at the time. According to the recipe source, the mixture can be kept warm in a crockpot, or on a coffee warmer (covered) for several hours, and can be successfully reheated the next day. (Mine never lasted long enough for me to testify to the above statement.),A perfect balance of flavors. Sweet, warm and comforting. I will have to keep this in mind the next time I have a head cold!

    Mix Water, Sugar, Cinnamon, Cloves, Wine, and the Juice of the Orange Together in a Heavy Pot.

    Bring Up the Heat, but Do not Boil.
