Grandma’s Apple Cake, This is a favorite of my late grandma’s recipes She passed away a year ago October 27 and I am just now able to look at her cookbooks and make what I call my memory food This is a very simple cake and is delicious iced or not Enjoy!, YUM! Sometimes the old recipes are the best ones! I had some apples that I wanted to use up, so used quite a bit more than 2 cups, we like lots of apple so it worked out really well At first I thought the dough was too stiff, but once the apple was mixed in it was fine I sprinkled the entire top with cinnamon sugar before baking, and we didn’t think it required an icing Delicious Your grandma’s recipe is a perfect treat, great tasting and not too heavy Thanks for posting, made for PAC Spring 2010
