Popovers, Great with the Ina Garten Sunday Rib Roast that is to be my family’s traditional Christmas dinner These are light and lovely Make these as an alternative to Yorkshire Pudding , Delish! I’ve been using a recipe that calls for 2 eggs & no butter 3 eggs & a little butter in this recipe make a very fine addition Three things I did a little different for this recipe – 1) whip eggs, milk & melted butter ’til they’re frothy – then add flour & salt; 2) only used 1 T butter (worked fine); and 3) skip the pre-heat the oven part I turn on the oven to 450 for 30 min & put the popovers into the cold oven 30 minutes time worked perfectly Thanks for a great recipe :), I have tried many recipes for popovers and these are my favorite They are a light, hollow, muffin-like bread that is incredible if you make a slit in it with your knife and drizzle honey inside!!!
