Green Beans,This is a great recipe for those fresh from the garden green beans.,I followed the recipe with fresh green beans from our garden. They were good when done, but next time I will not use as much olive oil as I could taste the olive oil and it was a little overpowering. Also, I think 6 minutes is too long to boil, 5 at the most.,I would highly recommend using the best beans you can buy. We made the mistake of buying ours the last hours before midnight Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and they had run out of the good beans. Used store brand. I am hoping THAT is what made this not so good…..

Place the Beans in a Pan of Boiling Salted Water and Cook For 6-8 Minutes Until Firm but not Raw, Drain Well |

Melt the Butter in a Pan, Add the Olive Oil and Heat, Adding the Onion and Cooking For 3-4 Minutes. |
