Greg’s Pork Asado,This is a Filipino recipe. A friend of ours made it for us when he came to visit. We found the recipe in either the Seattle P-I or Journal American newspaper about 15 years ago, which we’ve since lost, but my husband remembered it and over time we’ve adapted it to fit our tastes.,for a philippine version of asado, try using star anise instead of the bay leaf. using the bay leaf in this recipe will make it taste more like Humba – a different Visayan dish. xoxoxo, for a philippine version of asado, try using star anise instead of the bay leaf. using the bay leaf in this recipe will make it taste more like Humba – a different Visayan dish. xoxoxo
