Grilled Fresh Figs and Blue Cheese,I bought fresh figs at the farmer’s market and the grower shared this simple and delicious fig preparation with me. We had it for a Father’s Day dinner appetizer and it is fantastic!,Great as written warm, but also very good non-cooked (raw). It is such a versatile concept, I also tried them like other reviewers 1) with prosciutto (instead of bacon) broiled and 2) with a sweetened balsamic reduction. All variations were super!,Delicious and simple. Whole foods had fresh, organic figs on sale, blue cheese on sale and French bread. It was very simple to make and I would make this again. I grilled the fig pieces until they had sear marks on them which really gave them a nice flavor. Everything tasted very nice together and the flavor was deep. Thanks for the recipe.
