Grilled Italian Tomatoes

    Grilled, not roasted. I halve the tomatoes and put them skin side down in a frying pan with oil or butter for a minute or two. Flip them over to the cut side for a minute. Salt and pepper. Try this for breakfast. I do a mini English Breakfast in tomato season. Grilled tomatoes, sausage, fried egg all in one skillet, with toast. Good way to get another serving of veggies into your diet.

    Put Tomatoes Side by Side in a Baking Dish. Sprinkle With Olive Oil and With Salt and Pepper.

    Cook in a Preheated Oven of 450 F For About 50 Minutes or Until Tomatoes Are Tender and Skin Is Lightly Folded.
