Grilled Safari Steak With Mango Chutney And

Features:
    Cuisine:

A really delicious recipe with a sweet, tangy, piquant sauce. used fresh, coarsely chopped, steamed white mushrooms instead of canned; I think that was the only substitution I made. used a Major Grey's mango chutney, and it seemed to go very well in the sauce. I served this with some haricots vert, garlicky sauteed zucchini, and some garlic mashed potatoes, all of which went well with the recipe. I will very likely make this again, though I will probably have to tweak it a bit--my son dislikes mushrooms, and it was maybe just a bit too tangy for the kids' tastes. But DH & I both enjoyed it quite a bit just as it is!
