Ground Beef Soup

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is a great "starter" recipe. Using what I had on hand, used 1 cup chicken broth instead of beef bouillon, 12 oz. tomato sauce (next time will try w/ petite diced tomatoes), 1/2 tsp. diced oregano, 1-1/2 cup frozen green beans, 1/p red bell pepper, 1/2 cup chopped celery. used oil to brown my meat b/c the meat was extra-lean. After browning the meat I stirred in the garlic, diced carrots, diced potatoes bell pepper, celery and frozen green beans. (If using frozen corn, could toss in now, too). I simmered until veggies were soft. I served with biscuits. Next time I make this I want to try using Italian sausage instead of ground beef.

Ground Beef Soup, This recipe is one of our family’s favorites fairly easy to make and very yummy! My husband, who won’t normally eat leftovers actually hoards these leftovers (this makes a big batch) and will eat them for days in a row! 🙂 This recipe also works great in a crockpot! Just brown the beef ahead of time, then throw everything together to simmer for the day!, This is a great starter recipe Using what I had on hand, used 1 cup chicken broth instead of beef bouillon, 12 oz tomato sauce (next time will try w/ petite diced tomatoes), 1/2 tsp diced oregano, 1-1/2 cup frozen green beans, 1/p red bell pepper, 1/2 cup chopped celery used oil to brown my meat b/c the meat was extra-lean After browning the meat I stirred in the garlic, diced carrots, diced potatoes bell pepper, celery and frozen green beans (If using frozen corn, could toss in now, too) I simmered until veggies were soft I served with biscuits Next time I make this I want to try using Italian sausage instead of ground beef
