Ground Beef Vegetable Soup,This is a delicious and satisfying soup I make often. It is from “A Taste of Myrtle Beach” cookbook, which features recipes from the area’s best restaurants. This soup is from Caroline’s Cafe. This also works very well in the crockpot. Just brown the ground beef and add everything else to the crockpot and let it cook on low for about 6 hours.,Love this recipe. We have soup and salad suppers at our church before the Lenten midweek services. Have served this two years in a row and it’s a hit! Couldn’t be easier. use frozen vegetables and the last time I made it, it was almost like a stew, so I’m going to add a little more broth and a little less beef.,Love this recipe and have made it several time, but I’ve changed it a bit: – Season ground beef with minced garlic, salt, pinch of parsley and onions. Brown together. – use tri-colored carrots, peas, celery, corn, and kidney beans – Ketchup is way too sweet, so I add regular tomato sauce and garlic infused stewed tomatoes _ This recipe needs all the salt it can get, so I wouldn’t use low salt/sodium broth, tomato sauce, etc. The kids and Hubs devour this! Serve it with salad and your favorite delish bread!
