Halloween Eyeball Cookies,Halloween treats to make with your kids. How can anything that looks so hauntingly creepy taste so good ?? My kids have enjoyed taking these to school for years, and so will yours.,it was really good,The finished product was tasty enough, and quite scary. I was afraid people wouldn’t even want to eat them. used melted candy disks from Michaels, and was fairly successful. The biggest problem was the blood I tried to create as the finishing touch. The food coloring didn’t get absorbed by the candy coating, and everyone who ate them had red dye on their hands. It was an embarrassing problem at a big party. Some folks even had blue on their lips from the blue food coloring used to make the iris. I am sorry I spent all the money on the ingredients and coating, and would never make them again. Next year I will avoid all food coloring and make the meringue bones instead.
