Hawaiian Beef Casserole

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is a nice recipe although it is a bit bland. I did add salt and pepper to the meat mixture as it browned. My husband and son really liked it. used crushed tomatoes instead of ketchup as I didn't have any on hand. I decreased the brown sugar a bit at the suggestion of the other reviewers. I wish I had decreased it to 1/4 cup. I don't think the corn starch was necessary and I ended up adding an extra cup of water (maybe because of the tomatoes). I do have to say that the more I ate the more I liked it. I often add crushed pineapple to my big pot of chili so we knew we would like the flavour with the meat. My husband thought it would be great on spaghetti so we will try that tomorrow with the leftovers. Thanks for a tasty and versatile meal.
