Helado De Pina(Pineapple Ice),This is from Paraguay and is from Flavors of Paraguay by Lynn Van Houten.,OK, this is going to be my go-to dessert for the rest of the summer. I froze the pineapple pieces for 4 hours before pureeing and used slightly less sugar as my pineapple was literally dripping sweet juice. Loved how easy it was and everyone enjoyed it. There’s not much left, but I think I’ll have it with a little cachaca or rum mixed in.,Couldn’t be simpler or more delicious. That leftover pineapple on my countertop became an extraordinary dessert for dinner tonight in just a few minutes with the fewest number of ordinary ingredients. I think expensive ice cream may be a thing of the past around this house.
