Holiday Chocolate Covered Cherries, I make these every year for Christmas goodies and my husband hides them from everybody! They take about two weeks for the centers to get soft This is a Southern Living recipe that’s at least 20 years old When you buy the cherries check the servings in the jar You need 50 cherries, give or take a few , Great recipe!! I tried another recipe first and that was a disaster— but this one worked like a charm! Its time consuming but definitely worth the effort I soaked my cherries in Jim Bean, which changed the taste of the whole candy itself but it was good!, excellent recipe used normal pitted cherries soaked in Jack Daniels for 2 days instead of marachino Thanks for posting this recipe
