Directions
Homemade Sausage Seasoning Blend,A dry herb blend for giving any ground meat a “sausage” flavoring. Try this not only with ground pork, but also ground turkey, beef, or chicken. Adapted from a recipe that came with one of my pizza pans. Recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc as needed. Each batch is enough to season 1 pound of meat. Leave out the crushed red pepper flakes for milder sausage.,Thanks Heather! That what I was hoping to find! A lot of mine was more,”guestimating,”than precise measuring! I don’t actually have any 1/3 spoons! All in all, it was !a success,Needed seasoning when hubby brought home ground turkey instead of sausage. Worked pretty well despite not having fennel. Too salty for our taste, and that was with cutting some back per a review I read. Next time I might try it with half the amount and work from that point. Will be using this again though and appreciate the recipe!
