Tomato Basil Pizza Sauce,This is a simple pizza sauce. If you grow fresh plum tomatoes use about 2 cups of them chopped in place of the canned tomatoes.,tastes great and is easy to make!,I am not one to typically slander a recipe! However the direction to this one is terrible! Why you would say not to drain, insted to drain and set aside the juices, is beyond me! You can always add the juices from the tomatoes back in to loosen it up if desired! Or drain it later when its a watery mess and lose half your flavour! It’s a 6 ingredient recipe and think the direction to the MAIN ingredient, the ball was droped on! I drained and set aside and used MAYBE a third of it! And people add sugar to your tomatoe based sauces! A teaspoon isnt going to give anyone diabites!
