Homestyle Ham and Bean Soup, This soup is really good and easy. If you have more time, you can use fresh vegetables instead of canned, but I like it either way. It was very good. used fresh carrots, 1 can northern beans and 1 can Navy beans smushed. A splash of tabasco., Very good soup. I also pureed 1/3 of the beans for the cream effect. used 2 bay leafs instead of 1. 2 small fresh diced potatoes. 3 small cans chicken broth. good eaten!
