Honey Glazed Plantains,This recipe is made to accompany my Recipe #373203 and my Recipe #373114. They complement each other so well. But this is good as is, and is pretty quick to make. A nice sweet side dish. Recipe originally came from Aaron McCargo.,I made this recipe without any alterations, and I really liked how the honey and green onion (scallion) imparted such wonderful flavors to these pan-fried plantains. used ripe yellow plantains with just the beginning of black specks in the peel, so after cooking they turned out pretty tender with just a hint of caramelizing on the edges, and they had lots of flavor. I served them with homemade Johnny Cakes and some fresh blueberries for breakfast. Thanks, breezermom. We really liked these Honey Glazed Plantains. Made for Culinary Quest 2017 (Central America).,First time eating plantains and they were very nice Made for CQ 2017
