Hot Spiced Cider With Calvados, , Great recipe Mimi- thanks We made this a few times over the Thanksgiving weekend Had some cavalos to use up from antother recipe (oh, darn) Took advice of another rater and didn’t use quite as many cloves- but I think we liked it best with a bit more ginger I guess that’s all up to personal taste Thanks for giving us a great recipe to play with I think I’ll try a star anise next time if I have it on hand , Be carefull I followed the directions the cloves was overpowering! I did have to add more apple juice!I would make next time with the most 10 cloves I also added water to thin the sweetness after simmering for 30 minutes I did enjoy it!
