Hunan Beef, I love hunan beef but could not find any on this site. I found this by Lila Voo BellaOnline’s Chinese Food Editor. I learned that Hunan is a region in China known for their hot and spicy food. This uses Thai chilies, so if you don’t like heat, you may want to remove the seeds the first time you make this., This is a great dish, love making it for the kids. One tip – after boiling the beef, save your broth! I boil it down a little, then freeze it to use in other recipes like slow cooker brisket or chicken piccada (I find the beef broth adds a deep flavor you don’t get from chicken stock)., I love hunan beef but could not find any on this site.
