Iced Oatmeal Cookies,My grandma used to make these cookies when I was a little girl. I had lost the recipe and just found it a couple weeks ago, so I want to share it with you all.,These were a 2019 Xmas hit! I altered the cookie recipe slightly (half brown, half granulated sugar as MissAbby recommended, and old-fashioned oats instead of instant), and perhaps this is why the cookies needed a good dozen minutes or more to cook. I found that the amount of icing permitted very generous glazing of the cookies (no need to limit oneself to sparse drizzles, unless that is one’s preference), with even a bit left over after doing so.,It doesn’t say anything about raisins. How much should I add to make this recipe?
