Indian Almond Koftas With Yogurt

Features:
    Cuisine:

I missed the "C" after the oven temp in the recipe and stupidly cooked it at 190 F. The sauce was great and when I cooked the second batch at the right temp, it turned out fine. Tasty but heavy and dense.

Indian Almond Koftas With Yogurt,Wonderful tasty spicy kaftas to enjoy as a starter or to accompany a good curry. Kofta is very popular in Asia. These can be made with lamb or chicken. Koftas are usually fried these however are cooked in the oven. I am posting this recipe for my friend, an Indian lady who is a Zaar member.,I missed the “C” after the oven temp in the recipe and stupidly cooked it at 190 F. The sauce was great and when I cooked the second batch at the right temp, it turned out fine. Tasty but heavy and dense.,THIS IS A PERFECT RECIPE. Ok, ok, I am admittedly a huge fan of BrianH Recipes. Having said that- this recipe is on another level entirely. I say that it’s perfect, and it really is. You can serve as main dish for 2, or to a party as apps. You can cook it up on a weeknight, or have it for a party. It’s not expensive, it’s so easy- for all levels of chefs. It’s easy cleanup. It’s great for fans of Indian food, or people who perhaps haven’t had Indian food or are not generally fans. I can pretty much guarantee you that if you try this recipe, you will feel the same way as we do. DH was raving about the yogurt sauce. I was just beside myself with the depth of flavors in these little balls of wonder. We loved this, BrianH- loved it loved it. I am glad I saved this for a special night. Thank you thank you!
