    This is the best recipe online for real true bannock.

    Finally, a real bannock recipe! No sugar. No raisins. Just bannock. True and traditional. I'd LOVE to take a picture, but I can't manage to do it before I eat it all. I've been living in MX for a year and...I need my fix from time to time. Don't be afraid to cook it in a pan, on the stove-top on medium (or low...you know your range). Best in a cast iron pan but I've done it twice in a teflon. Not the same as on hot rocks on the beach in BC...but you do what you can. Myself, I'd avoid deep-frying it...seems to be more a "modern" thing. I wouldn't..but man oh man...it's delicious deep-fried, too (only had it once like that). Just not that good for you. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple, Stupid! This is the best recipe online for real true bannock.
