Indian Chai Tea or Smoothie,No need to pay coffeehouse prices when it’s this easy to make the classic Indian sweet and spicy tea.,I had this as a cold smoothie although it was more like a cold chai latte since my ice cubes weren’t completely frozen. I had to add a lot more honey to make it sweet enough. The spices were hard to detect but I still enjoyed it over more ice. 4 stars for how I changed it but still I wouldn’t call it Indian chai just cold tea latte. used allspice in a lesser amount in place of nutmeg because we do not consume intoxicants and homemade almond milk to be lactose free.,This was missing the richness in flavors that I’m used to…not sure if its the difference in spices as noted by another review or what since this is my first homemade chai. I tasted it in pan as original recipe and deffinately knew I needed something more…so I added some clove as noted by another review and I also added some vanilla. Better but still not “rich & creamy”…I’ll keep looking.
