Indian ( Navajo ) Fry Bread,After about 20 attempts this is the best Recipe i was able to create!,Doubled the recipe, formed into 20- 5 inch discs, quick fried them all and called the family into the kitchen 2 at a time so they could get them as they came out of the pan. Served with seasoned ground beef, chili, salsa, cheese, sour cream , shredded lettuce, refried black beans.I was told that this could be a repeat dinner any time. Served 6 very hungry adults.,I never thought I’d find a recipe that even came close to my dad’s bannock (Plains Cree) or the wonderful Smelqmix elders of the Okanagan-Similkameen but this one comes close enough. I was always taught it was important to thank the creator and be in the right mood or your food would not turn out but this recipe is fool proof! Musi cho! (Great Thanks!)
