Inside out Burger,Simple burgers with big flavor! I did add a few shakes of lemon pepper and used sliced sharp cheddar cheese instead of american. All the toppings we enjoy, juicy burgers, with corn on the cob on the side equals a fantastic meal. Will make these burgers again! Made and reviewed for PAC Spring 2013.,What a great recipe! Saw this episode too and I think they called it a Juicy Lucy- and appropriately so! used 92% lean beef and 2% American cheese (which tends to melt quicker) and ended up with cheese distributed throughout the burger making the normally drier lean beef wonderfully juicy. Next time however, I’ll splurge on the 80% as suggested and a full-fat slice of American- maybe the white version. Also, your method of quartering the slices keeps all that gooey cheese inside the burger where it belongs. Although this may seem like the simplest of recipes, it’s the method here that makes all the difference in the world. If you’re a cheeseburger lover and have never tried an inside-out cheeseburger, (aka Juicy Lucy), don’t skip this one!!
