Instant Garlic Mashed Potatoes,Want garlic mashed potatoes but don’t have any real potatoes on hand? Use this simple recipe instead.,I rarely ever use instant mashed potatoes (or “potato flakes”, to avoid unwanted additives), so a simple recipe to get the ratios right is key. This one worked great! TIP: stick to 1 1/2 Tsp; we love garlic and I went with 2 Tsp…it was almost overwhelming. Lol. VEGAN: My family is lactose-intolerant, used #CashewMilk & #EarthBalance butter – dandy! GARNISH: chopped parsley, looks nice and sets off the garlic flavor well.,These are great. Came out wonderful. I did change a bit. Used 3 cups each of water and potato flakes, increased milk to 1 cup. Also, added a bit more garlic salt and butter. Super Yummy!! Thanks for posting.
