Italian Hash

Features:
    Cuisine:

This turned out really good and easy. I ended up using "Southern style" (cubed) frozen potatoes because the store was out of the shredded. I doubled the meat, using 1 lb. Johnsonville sausage and 1/2 lb. Recipe #178446. I also added 1/2 a green pepper, and used the whole package of potatoes (which was 6 c. instead of 5). I added a bit of olive oil while the potatoes were browning to keep them from sticking. I added the sauce at the end and stirred it in, then melted the cheese on top before serving. A great simple meal!

Italian Hash,This is a simple, yet different quick tasty dish to make for a weeknight dinner. Great as is served just as made, even better topped with the optional ingredients. I made it pretty much as stated, but I cooked the onions and sausage in a frying pan, then used our electric griddle to cook the hash browns. Once the hash browns were down I added the sausage and onions on top. My husband said it was his new favorite. But the best eview comes from our 1 year old who learn a new word with this dish “delious!”
