Italian Pepperoni-Cheese Puffs, Snack-size cream puffs from Better Homes and Gardens, 1999 , I made these to serve as appetizers for a party I substituted butter for the shortening because that’s what I had on hand and used the parmesan cheese option Because the recipe didn’t call for salt, I decided to take one for the team and taste the dough It definitely needed some salt I added 1/2 teaspoon salt, but after they were baked, decided I could have added a full teaspoon instead That may be due to my personal taste, or the lack of saltiness of the Parmesan used I served these with marinara sauce on the side and they were pretty popular Made for CQ19 , OMG, this is sooooo good Made the full recipe and followed instructions completly and there was not one left Loved the soft dough and the Italian flavors blended well and were a favorite by everyone This is going right into my best of 2019 Will be making it often Thanks for posting
