1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
1 bay leaf

    Italian Sausage Crockpot Soup, This is a robust, easy to make Soup. One of my Favorite’s., This is a good basis for some creative cooking. Try adding some different veggies – like zucchini and green beans. I’ve used different types of sausage like chicken asiago basil sausage. But my number one recommendation for any soup that says sprinkle servings with parmesan cheese – ADD PARMESAN RINDS to the soup as it cooks. Fish out the rind and throw it away at the end. You will be amazed at the flavor., Very Yummy! I made this in my Instant Pot. I sauteed the sausage a few minutes. used an extra carrot and celery stalk, diced tomatoes, and shells instead of orzo that’s what I had on hand and added 1/2 tsp salt. I cooked it with the soup option, 4 minutes in the Instant Pot. Everyone either loved it or liked it, and my family is picky. Thanks!
