Italian Sausage Dump Casserole

Features:
    Cuisine:

My family has been making for years. We cut the potatoes lengthwise in quarters or skinnier (like skin on French fries) and add some Good season salad dressing (made with the packet). One of the best dishes that we have been eating since the 70's when my grandmother made this. We still use her old black speckled roasting pan to cook it. One thing we do is wait to put in the peppers until the last 25 minutes since they cook faster. Keeps them a little firmer.

Italian Sausage Dump Casserole,All in one dish casserole of Italian sausage, peppers and potatoes in a tomato sauce that goes together quickly and is delicious!,My family has been making for years. We cut the potatoes lengthwise in quarters or skinnier (like skin on French fries) and add some Good season salad dressing (made with the packet). One of the best dishes that we have been eating since the 70’s when my grandmother made this. We still use her old black speckled roasting pan to cook it. One thing we do is wait to put in the peppers until the last 25 minutes since they cook faster. Keeps them a little firmer.,I didn’t think the potatoes would go with these ingredients and I was right, it would have been better with rice. Plus the potatoes took a long time to cook so the whole cooking time ended up being 1 hr and 45 mins
