Italian Sausage Pie,This pie makes a lovely light supper dish. It takes very little time to put together and bake. Serve it with your favorite salad. This recipe is adapted from a cookbook by The Sons of Italy Florida Foundation.,That was wonderful!! Used spicy Italian just because we like it better, threw some cracked red chilis in and some Italian spices. I had cooked the filling the day before, so Monday dinner took merely minutes to prepare. I had cut it down to two eggs (because I hate eggs) but I won’t do that again…rather, I’ll bulk it up with more veggies (mushrooms, sweet bell peppers) and toss a quarter teaspoon of baking powder in with the egg/cheese mix – it seems to make it puff up and brown a little more, just makes it prettier. If I add more yummy stuff, it’ll mask the egg taste 😉 Husband and one son really liked it, the other son doesn’t like anything outside of big macs and gummy bears, so HIS opinion never counts. Thank you!,This was delicious. The whole family enjoyed it very much!
