Italian White Lasagna,This is some lasagna! Rich, with Gouda, Cheddar, cream cheese, and Mozzarella, you won’t be disappointed! Posted in response to a request for a good Italian lasagna! You may leave out the meat for vegetarian!,A little rich but that could be because I didn’t have any dry white wine and was too lazy to go to the store and get some myself. I substituted the beef for Italian sausage and ground turkey. Other than that I stuck to the recipe and it was a crowd pleaser this evening and will now be in the rotation as a regular dinner once or twice a month. Thank you!,This was terrible and would never make it again. Followed the recipe exactly except used meatless ground round.

Preheat Oven to 375f. |

Brown Beef (if Using), Celery, Onion and Garlic in a 1 Tbls. Oil; Drain. |

Stir in Seasonings. |

Add Cream Cheese and Cream. |

Cook Over Low Heat Until Smooth. |

Add Wine, Shredded Cheddar and Gouda (or Cheese of Your Choice). |

Stir Together Egg and Cottage Cheese, Set Aside. |

Layer Cooked Noodles, Part of Meat (or Just Vegetable) Mixture, Cottage Cheese, Half Mozzarella. |

Repeat Until All Is Used; Top With Mozzarella. |
