Jalapeno Popper Wonton Puffs, If you love jalapeno poppers, then this is one you will have to try!, I’ve been making these for several years for our Super Bowl party and they are always a huge hit. I triple the recipe, put them on cookie pans sprayed with Pam, freeze them flat and then put them in freezer bags so I can make them in advance. Then on game day I just pop them right out of the freezer and into the oil and they come out perfect every time. I do this once or twice during the rest of the year too so if we have people over I always have them on hand. Awesome recipe!, I made these for New Years Eve. I made a few slight changes according to what I had on hand. used an 8 ounce tub of whipped cream cheese, which made mixing easy, and used fresh jalapeno peppers. I didn’t want to have the deep fryer out so I sprayed them with EVOO and baked them in the oven @ 350 until browned. Everyone enjoyed them and they were gone in no time. DH and I both feel they would be even better if they were fried like the recipe states. Of course frying equals less healthy, but more delicious, isn’t that they way it usually goes? Thanks for a great addition to our New Years Eve!
