Juicy Tandoori-Spiced Turkey Burger Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

Sorry to say, I found this fairly disappointing, mainly because I had high hopes for such a detailed and boldly spiced burger recipe. In the end, it was just different and okay. I made it exactly as written, using 85% lean ground turkey and some Penzeys Tandoori Seasoning. The grill time for me was quite a bit longer than 5 minutes per side, since I was using a countertop Cuisinart grill. I was surprised that even with all the spices, the resulting burger had a quite mild flavor - beats me how that happened. Well, at least I tried this on 100% whole wheat hamburger buns, which I'd never tried before - they helped.

Tandoori Spice Turkey Burgers,Probably the best turkey buger I have ever eaten, great flavor in every bit. Served on whitewheat hamburger rolls with lettuce and tomato. Prep time does not include grill warm-up time.,Sorry to say, I found this fairly disappointing, mainly because I had high hopes for such a detailed and boldly spiced burger recipe. Used just 1/4tsp salt and instead of grilling I baked them in the oven. Put a piece of parchment paper on the ovensheet, brushed it lightly with oil and then baked the burgers at 375F for about 12 minutes on each side. They were moist, tasty and spicy. Will make again. Thanks for posting.
