1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can peeled diced tomatoes
1 (16 ounce) can navy beans or (16 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained

    Great recipe! Added some home grown tomatoes instead of a can, some habanero pepper and used cajun kielbasa. Also added brocolli. Thanks to the reviwer who suggested crusty bread to soak up the juices! Very easy and very flavorful.

Added some home grown tomatoes instead of a can, some habanero pepper and used cajun kielbasa Also added brocolli Thanks to the reviwer who suggested crusty bread to soak up the juices! Very easy and very flavorful , Quick and easy used 2 lbs of polish kielbasa I added one can of pink beans in addition to a can of cannolini beans, sliced mushrooms- a couple of tablespoons of Peter Luger steak sauce, a couple of shakes of worcestershire, a sprinkle of light brown sugar and used a can of diced tomatoes that had jalapeos because thats what I had on hand Yummy! Would never have thought to do beans with kielbasa Thanks!

    Heat Oil or Butter in a Large Skillet, Add Kielbasa and Cook Over Medium High Heat Until Lightly Browned, Remove With Slotted Spoon.

    Reduce Heat to Medium, Add Onions and Cook Until Transparent.

    Reduce Heat to Low, Add Garlic and Herbs and Cook 1 Minute.

    Add Kielbasa, Tomatoes and White Beans, Bring to a Boil, Reduce Heat and Simmer 10 Minutes.
