King’s Hawaiian Bread (Copycat),We absolutely love this bread. My sister won’t buy anything but. It’s kinda expensive so when I came across this, I had to add it here so we (Mom, Chris, and I) could always have it and everyone else could enjoy it too. The first time I ever had it, it was with the Spinach Veggie dip…OMGOSH it was DEEEVINE! So…next time you don’t wanna spend the money, whip it up yourself! It does take a while…but so worth it!,I just got my bread maker and this is one of the breads that I really wanted make. I read different reviews people have tweaked the recipe and made it for two loads instead of the three that way it would fit in the breadmaker. So my question is how did they do that my bread maker will need the dough and cook it so I don’t know if that would work for me. My bread maker will make bread that is 1 lb, 1/2 pounds and 2 lb. So I wonder how this would do in my new machine. It sounds like a lot of people made this recipe by hand.,I changed this to make 2 loaves, instead of 3. Ended up with 16 rolls and 2 small loaves. They were amazing. Big, fluffy rolls. I posted on FB and got all kinds of comments and some wanting recipe. I did read other review, Linda K since I was using my KA, I proofed the yeast in 1/2 of heated pineapple juice and pinch of salt. I added approx 1 tsp honey with yeast and salt. then followed the instructions for the rest. I put in oven I had heated on warm since the house was a bit cold here in winter. Open door to let some of the heat out. Wet rag over my dough. Will make these again and again.
