Kittencals Crepes

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is a great crepe recipe. It was handed down from my grandma thru my mom to me. We change it up by adding lime zest (about 1 teaspoon) and replacing the vanilla with lime juice. Then filling it with blueberries or blueberry sorbet. Also we exchange the orange extract with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Then filling it with pastry cream. We also use it for savory recipes (we omit the vanilla & orange extracts), SO YUMMY!

Kittencal’s Crepes,This crepe recipe goes back over 30 years, you may fill with berries then roll up and top with whipped cream if desired, or drizzle with syrup, make certain to use *warm* milk only that’s the secret to perfect textured crepes! — the crepes can really be made into any size desired, but make sure to make them as thin as possible — servings and cooking time are only estimated, depending on size of the crepes.,This is a great crepe recipe. Kids had them for dessert with fresh strawberries and Hershey’s milk chocolate whipped topping and again for breakfast with sausage links and syrup. The recipe, for me, made 11 crepes in a 10 inch skillet and using a little less than 1/4 of cup each pour. If you are counting carbs, I calculated each crepe to be about 20g of carbs. They are already wanting me to make more!
