Kohlrabi & Carrots,Kohlrabi is another veggie that seems hidden away. It has a mild turnip flavour and is delicious mixed with carrot or on it’s own. Use it raw, chopped in a green salad. It’ very, very good and a nice change. You may substitute turnip for the Kohlrabi in this recipe,Simple, healthy and yummy! Thanks for posting the recipe.,Lovely simple flavours. used organic purple kohlrabi from our weekly local CSA basket, organic purple and orange carrots unpeeled but I suggest for company you peel them as the skin falls off upon mashing, no nutmeg as we do not consume intoxicants (I tried my regular substitute of organic allspice but preferred it without), no optional butter although it would be delicious, grey sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. This dish would go with just about anything! I love the flavour of kohlrabi..
