Lawry’s Seasoned Salt (Copycat),My reverse-engineered recipe for Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, originally marketed as a seasoning rub for ribs before barbecuing.,Just made this! I didnt have fine salt or sugar so I mixed the whole recipe in my Vitamix on the lowest setting. Worked like a charm to break up sugar and salt and blend everything. Will remember next time to let it settle a bit before taking off the lid, there was quite a cloud ?? Tastes just like Lawrys!! Saving this and will always make it instead of buying Lawrys!,The one thing I noticed different about this recipe that makes it the most accurate Ive seen… celery salt. That is the first thing I smell when I open Lawrys. I dont use Lawrys much except when I make jalapeo or habanero salts.

Note: I Recommend Using Morton Popcorn Salt and Tradewinds Brand Ground Celery Salt, Both Sold at Smart & Final. There Will Be a Slightly Different Color Result from Lawry's Brand Due to the Absence of Oleoresin, a Coloring Agent. |

Store Spice Mixture in a Tightly Sealed Container to Preserve Freshness (spice Mixture Actually Improves After 30 Days and Becomes Even More Authentic Due to the Infusion Between All of the Herbs and Spices). |
