Lee Lee’s Famous Chocolate Sauce for Ice Cream,Here it is folks! First time ever in print! My Mom’s famous hot chocolate sauce for ice cream sundaes. These are ingredients you more than likely always have on hand. Try this once and you will never buy store bought sauce again!,Not a big chocolate lover BUT this is fantastic! Thanks make all the time and is loved by everyone,Flavor is good and it tastes great until it actually cools down and crystallizes/gets grainy in texture. This comes from continuing to stir the sauce after the sugar dissolves and not brushing the sides of the pan with water to kill crystallized sugar during cooking. I knew better but went against my better judgement. Bad idea! So I had to add more water to it and corn syrup to melt it down again and stop crystals from forming again. I don’t know if it worked or not yet. So unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend the recipe.

Combine Sugar, Cocoa, and Salt in Small Saucepan. |
